I am standing as a candidate for the Liberal Democrats in the local District Council elections in May 2026, in my ward of Witney East.
After moving to Witney in 2024, I have fallen in love with the town and my fiancée and I have recently just bought our first house in the Cogges area.
I was inspired to get involved in local politics after recognising a sweeping lack of faith in our institutions, and I believe that young people need to meet this challenge and be the enactors of change.
I support our MP Charlie Maynard’s campaign to rebuild the Oxford-Witney-Carterton railway, and I’m passionate about improving our local roads, community spaces and infrastructure.
